Dr. Cameron Yau, originally from Toronto, Canada, completed an
undergraduate degree at Western University before attending medical school at
McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Yau then completed a 5 year
residency program at the University of Toronto, one of North America’s largest
Orthopaedic Surgery training programs. Dr. Yau subsequently moved to New York
City where he completed the Complex Adult Hip and Knee Reconstruction
Fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital and worked directly with some of the world’s
leading hip and knee replacement surgeons.
Dr. Yau is joining OASD from southwest Michigan where he has
been in practice for the past 7 years and acted as Chief of Surgery.
Dr. Yau specializes in primary total hip and knee replacement,
as well as revision of existing total joint replacements. He is
specially trained in hip replacement techniques using a minimally invasive
anterior approach which allows for a quicker and less painful recovery. He is
board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and by the Royal
College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Yau is pleased to be part of the healthcare team caring for the
southern Delaware community. He is excited to be relocating to southern
Delaware and join our skilled group. In his spare time, Dr. Yau enjoys
golf, boating and fishing, as well as travel.
