Shannon FitzPatrick, M.D.

Shannon FitzPatrick, M.D. is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in surgical and non-surgical care of the hand, wrist and elbow. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico, Dr. FitzPatrick earned a medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. While there, Dr. FitzPatrick served as Chief Orthopedic Resident. She pursued specialized training in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery through a fellowship at Brown University.

Dr. FitzPatrick focuses on upper extremity fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, overuse injuries, arthritis, nerve compressions, contractures, ligament and tendon injuries as well as soft-tissue masses. She continues to participate in conferences to refine her skills and is a committee member in the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. FitzPatrick is committed to delivering the highest quality, patient-centered care so that she can help patients return to what they enjoy doing.
